Subject	Rust around the battery tray?

Message	What can be done about this? I was thinking about getting the bay sandblasted and repainting but what can I do to make sure that this doesn't start to spread? Also, how can I remove the battery tray? I am either going to replace it or relocate the battery. Probably the latter so I have more engine bay space.
